In what may be the most brilliant product marketing strategy ever, Dr. Pepper is giving every American (minus Slash and Buckethead) a free Dr. Pepper today, to coinside with the unlikely release of Guns N’ Roses Chinese Democracy. Yes, the album has dropped and pigs are flying, but it’s not all kittens, unicorns and rainbows. In order to claim your free DP, you must register your email address with the corporate folks at The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. So be sure to use a different email address unless you loves yourself some Dr. Pepper Snapple Spam.
