Well, time to drop out of school and skip Grad school if you are thinking about it.

Now that they are looking to go after anyone making over 120K or 150K – there is no motivation to go into 6 figure debt only to get screwed for actually paying attention in class and over-achieving. I think i will go play guitar hero and get high like everyone else in college.

Watch idiocracy and eat brownies HERE I COME!!!

  2. Will says:

    now we are screwed

  3. Nick says:

Yeah woo, Im glad he won. And for all you Obama critics its time to grow up and accept that America chose a the better man. Learn to accept others beliefs, Unite as a country!!!

  4. Steve says:

in about a year or so there won't be a country to unite under.

  5. Campbell's Soup says:

I certainly hope he can make a difference, but I have also have know that what someone stands for in the election is not what they do in their presidency… After all look at the past 199 years… besides all politicians are lying when there mouth is moving…

  6. CryBaby says:

Just think, 5 of them can't even run McDonald's!

  7. Jon says:

J-Dobb, its not 150k, its 250k. If you make over 250k than you will feel an increase in taxes. People who are complaining that it is not fair they cannot work hard and make money are being ignorant of the other 80% of the country. If you are making above 250k, you should not be complaining because there are people in this country who could barely afford to get food on their tables everyday. I know its going to be hard adjusting, but man up, the US is one of the wealthiest countries in the world and if you make above 100k, your considered to be the top 0.2% richest in the world. About 99.8% of households in the world make less than 100k. So ponder on that.

  8. Jon says:

by the way, according to newsweek, only 63% of students go to college right after high school. So consider yourself lucky that you even have the chance to smoke up and play guitar hero.

  9. Doctor Bluto says:

    Jon,

The point is, the people that they are taking the money from WORKED for it. It isn't my job to support YOUR family. Be a man, provide for your loved ones. Don't look to others to help solve your problems. Man up. Work. Get your hands out of other people's pockets. It's pathetic.

  10. Niles Lesh says:

Ok, so what did we win again ?

    Nick Says

"Learn to accept others beliefs, Unite as a country!!!"

    …but dude isn't that like collectivism ?

    Geddy Lee (RUSH):

    "…conform or be cast out"

  11. Paul says:

This is a big mistake. He is going to destroy the country. Get ready for another terrorist attack.

  12. Jason says:

Paul, you sir is a retard.

  13. Jon says:

    Doctor Bluto,

Your belief that you are getting hard earned money taken from you and given to less wealthier people is based on the assumption and poor people do not work. Of course there are going to be exceptions, of course there are going to be people who do not work and still benefit from getting tax cuts. But how about those people who work at McDonalds their whole lives being able to make only $10 an hour at the most? How about the immigrants who come to the US without a college degree and all they can make is the minimum wage, just enough money to put food on the table and live in a rented one bedroom apart with 4 children because they have no education? Trust me, people work hard and they are still poor. You're assumption that people who are poor and are taking your money is a very shallow comment.

  14. jclark says:

Congrats comrades. By the way the retard talking about the 250 threshold effects businesses not just households so when you graduate with your worthless degree in French Philosophy and cant get work blame yourselves. The businesses shelling out more to pay for Barrys social programs arent going to hire your dead ass. On the up side Barrys election puts to rest the tired argument that this is a racist nation the issue of course an avowed Marxist was elected by the deluded left. Congrats!!

  15. Jon says:

    jclark,

"retard?" really, that's the only thing you could come up with? Good job. Before criticizing comments, why don't you do some research. The economic plan will actually create jobs. Obama is planning to provide 25 billion to help state and government workers keep their jobs. But onto you're criticism of not getting a job with businesses. Obama is planning to end tax breaks for companies who recruit workers overseas, therefore promoting more jobs within the US. In addition, the companies that do keep their workers within US will gain tax cuts, therefore promoting more jobs within the US. And learn from the past, if you had not noticed, what has been going on for the past decade is what Mccain was planning to do with the economy. Tax cuts to the rich, just see how far that has taken our economy. And if your calling everyone who voted for a "Marxist" deluded, maybe you're the deluded one instead.

Also, if you can't get a job with a French Philosophy degree, it's your own fault for expecting to make money with that degree.(no offense to anyone who is a french philosophy major)

  16. paul says:

anyone who works at mcdonals only making 10$ an hour deserves it. if they didnt work hard in school then why should i care if just trying to "make ends meet", its thier own fault. And the so called hard work they do is nothing compared to what real hard work is. try law school. you wont probably wont because your a girl but just so you know, law school, is harder and more work in 1 year than most people will do in a lifetime.

  17. Amanda says:

Hey Jon…it WAS 250K…but it has changed down to 150…so do some research. So yes, more and more people are going to get taxed to help everyone else. Like people aren't paying enough as it is? Give me a break.

This country will realize what it did in a couple years, and let's just hope it's fixable. I'm a nurse, and I can only imagine what universal health care will do to MY job. It's not going to be good I can tell you that much. Not for the nurses, not for the doctors, and sure as hell not for the patients.

  18. Doctor Bluto says:

Your assumption that I am someone that HAS money is actually quite comedic. I was going to say shallow, maybe presumptuous, but comedic works best. I take home about $25,000 a year. Granted, that is over the nations poverty line for a single person ($10,400 is where the government considers someone poor, unless that has changed recently). But using your McDonald's employee (he'll be our Joe the plumber), he makes about $20800 a year (2080 hours if you work 40 hours a week multiplied by 10). Now that we have some FACTS, lets get to the point.

My money won’t be touched directly. What I mean by that is the money that is going to fund all of these socialist programs isn’t only going to come from the rich, which is 150k or more now. Oh no no no…they can’t just print up money and give it out either, that doesn’t work. They will be taking from social security and other money sinks that are there for “our protection”.

Also, you really think it is okay to punish someone for being successful in life? That is what is going to happen. “You did well for yourself and your family, but it is time to take care of everyone else in the country, sir.” Self reliance. Get some.

As for those people that work at McDonalds for $10 an hour with a one bedroom apartment and 4 children to feed…It everyone else’s job to pay for their poor decisions? Especially when an economy pack of condoms costs under $20.

There are programs in place already for those that WANT to…let me say that again…that WANT to improve their quality of life. Most DO NOT want to do the work necessary to do that though.

How about you work to feed their kids while I work on having a family of my own.

  19. Spike_Gerard says:

Recent STudies show that people making over 250K are 10 times more likely to cheat on there taxes than people who do not. ANd im tired of this we worked hard for our money and now your taking it away bull shit.. Yea true maybe you worked hard one day but a great example of this bull shit is Teachers for Example. 6th grade public school teacher in New York City teaches a class of 35 students from urban areas giving them the gift of education did i mention 35 students gets 28k a year to start CEO douche bag makes 300k a year sitting on his ass pointing fingers getting people to do all his work while he makes 500% more than his own employees. You can afford to chip in so stop bitching and get ready for CHANGE cuz whether you like it or not It is Here chances are all you rich fags will still cheat on your taxes but its a start.

  20. spike knows nothing says:

hey Spike… good luck getting work when the capital gains tax hikes start eating away at the profit margins for large and small businesses and they implement hiring freezes or start firing people outright. i hope you're the first to go
