Cosmo Magazine Through a Guy’s Eye
October 29, 2008 Posted in Sex
Every month women flock to newsstands to pick up their Bible. It is a woman’s source of knowledge for fashion, dating, and sex. Why do we as men care? We care because Cosmo is telling your woman how to treat you, dress for you, and sleep with you.
In a recent article Cosmo instructs women on how to ask guys out. Here are a few of the passages from this article and how we as guys feel about it.
“Buy the Guy a Drink.” This is one suggestion that Cosmo throws out there. ABSOLUTELY women should buy us drinks. This is a great suggestion by Cosmo. I have never had a woman buy me a drink and perhaps it would really be something if a chick finally bought me a beer at the bar instead of the other way around.
“Suggest a Super-Friendly Guy Outing.” Another great idea if that outing is to a sporting event. For as much time and effort guys spend into taking girls out to chick-flicks it would be nice if once in a while the ladies responded by taking us to a college football game. And then maybe a nice cherry on top with a trip to the local steakhouse!
“Invite Him on a Group Date.” NOOOOOOOOO. Guys do not want to be a party to the forced awkwardness of a group date. We hang out with our guy friends as a group voluntarily and out of the company of ladies. Why do women want to infringe upon that? Trust me ladies, stick to taking us to a sports event or a nice sports bar – but don’t bring other dudes and chicks along.

Cosmo has a long 7 storied history of giving bad advice to clueless girls, (usually written by funny and wised-up women who are having a great time at the magazine's expense, literally), and maybe the worst idea ever for spicing up a long term relationship came from Cosmo: Have a naked Hawaiian dinner together! MMMM….no.
"Invite Him on a Group Date."
The proper version of that is "Invite Him on a Group Date with you, your girlfriend, and three other women from the gym you like to watch get undressed."
i think the group date isnt a bad suggestion. Seinfeld was right group dates take the pressure off. Especially if you know the guy or girl who your going out with.
