THE BAND: Protest The Hero

HOMETOWN: Whitby, Ontario

MEMBERS: Rody Walker, Tim Millar, Luke Hoskin, Arif Mirabdolbaghi, Moe Carlson

THEIR DEAL: This mathcore, progressive, metal band from Canada pretty much shocks everyone who hears them.  Signed to Vagrant Records with tons of successful tours under their belt, they win fans over without any effort.  Their singer’s strong vocals paired with complicated rhythms and guitar riffs get just about everyone’s attention-regardless of whether or not they’re a fan of metal.

THE DIRT: The band recently had to miss a show in Salt Lake City.  Missing a show always pisses people off and fans expect an explanation.  Protest The Hero just gave their fans the most ridiculously amazing explanation for missing a show in rock ‘n’ roll history.  And they did it with a video.
