Juice-Up Your Arnold Palmer

October 6, 2008     Posted in Liquor

Golf legend Arnold Palmer’s drink of choice is a half iced tea/half lemonade concoction that bares his name. There’s nothing better than an ice cold Arnie to chill you out on a hot afternoon. One thing I never thought about doing was adding alcohol to the drink – it would make the perfect triple threat.

Check out our five favorite alcoholic Arnold Palmers after the jump!

1) The Tom Arnold:

The original iced-tea/lemonade mixture, with vodka added.

2) The John Daly:

Contains 1¼ oz citrus vodka, ¼ oz triple sec, topped off with ½ lemonade and ½ iced tea.

3) The Dirty Palmer:

2/3 Arnold Palmer and 1/3 Sailor Jerry Rum over ice.

4) The Hard Arnold or Stiff Palmer:

Equal parts of Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Twisted Tea.

5) The Arnold Palmer Senior:

Adding a shot of Amaretto, such as Disaronno.

check out firefly vodka, it is infused with a sweet-tea flavor, mix with lemonade on ice and you are one step closer to the 'tom arnold'
