DVD Rental of the Week: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

If you’re looking for that perfect stay-at-home date night movie rental then check out Forgetting Sarah Marshall.  From the guys who brought you The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a hilarious film starring Jason Segal, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Jonah Hill.

Why She Will Like It: At it’s core it is a romantic comedy.  The story follows Peter’s (Segal) quest to move on from his Hollywood girlfriend (Bell) who leaves him for a rock star (Russel Brand).  While vacationing in Hawaii he meets Rachel Jensen (Kunis).  And of course, Sarah Marshall travels with her new man to Hawaii and stays on the same resort as Peter making it that much tougher to forget about her.  Ultimately Peter must decide who he wants to be with.

Why You Will Like It: This movie is HILARIOUS.  While Jonah Hill is highly under-utilized in this movie, Paul Rudd is incredibly funny as a surf instructor.  Jack McBrayer from 30 Rock is also quite entertaining as a newlywed trying to enjoy his honeymoon in Hawaii. Just don’t forget to get the “unrated” version.
