Welcome back, football fans, for another installment of College Football Preview Cheerleader Edition. We’ve got games, stats, predictions–and a ton of freakin’ cheerleaders. We’re not saying it’s the best way to check out what games are coming up for the weekend, but…wait a minute…Yes we are!

Check out College Football Week Three: Cheerleader Edition after the jump!

No. 1 USC (1-0) vs No. 5 Ohio State (2-0)

This game has had a special golden star on the calendar of every college sport’s fan in the country. The Trojans are coming off a bye week and the Buckeyes had some trouble with Ohio. USC QB “Dirty” Sanchez is no longer a question mark – he has stepped into the USC role of stud QB with large future of hot chicks and money. The biggest question coming into the game is OSU RB Beanie Wells. No one knows for sure how he really is until he steps on the field. But be sure of 2 things: OSU hasn’t beat USC since the 1974 Rose Bowl and Wells will be held responsible for the result of this game (whether warranted or not).

No. 2 Georgia (2-0) at South Carolina (1-1)

Georgia kicks off conference play on the road at South Carolina. Knowshon Moreno has put himself squarely in the Heisman race, rushing for 6 TDs in two games. This is a challenge for both teams in that this is a change in caliber of opponent for both. The Gamecocks are BIG and fast, while Georgia’s Offense is a well-oiled machine. The Bulldogs will be looking for revenge after losing last season to the Gamecocks. South Carolina is coming off a loss to Vanderbilt.

No. 3 Oklahoma (2-0) at Washington (0-2)

After losing on a blocked extra point last week, Washington must refocus quickly if it’s going to hang with No. 3 Oklahoma. The Sooners average 55 points and the Huskies average 19; mathematically this isn’t going to be much of a game. The Sooners Offense will probably turn it into a track meet, but Washington needs an upset if they want to try and recover their season. Don’t bet on it. Oklahoma defeated Washington 37-20 at home on Sept. 9, 2006 in their only previous regular-season game.

No. 6 Missouri (2-0) vs Nevada (1-1)

The scoreboard should be lit up like a f*cking Christmas tree as Nevada gets a shot at its second straight ranked opponent when the Wolf Pack travel to Missouri. Both teams rank in the top 5 in total offense, but Nevada will be without RB Luke Lippincott, who tore his ACL last week. Nevada’s only chance is to go RB by committee and hope everyone can hold onto the ball. Either way, they are on the road against Missouri and will probably be another notch in the losing column.

No. 7 LSU (1-0) vs North Texas (0-2)

LSU looks to get back on the field after Hurricane Gustav postponed last week’s game against Troy. The Tigers should get caught up from their football-free week. The Tiger’s offense needs to get in gear quickly and often against the Mean Green. Not to win, but just to get the game-time rust knocked off. UNT has allowed 513 yards and 50 points a game this season.

No. 8 Texas (2-0) vs Arkansas (2-0)

The Arkansas-Texas game has been postponed until Sept. 27 because of Hurricane Ike.

No. 9 Auburn (2-0) at Mississippi State (1-1)

With Chris Todd confidently in place at QB, Auburn opens its conference schedule at Mississippi State. The Bulldogs beat the Tigers last season 19-14. Mississippi State has won back-to-back games against ranked opponents after losing 24 of its previous 25. Auburn is going to need to throw the ball well against the Bulldogs fairly athletic secondary. If this game gets one dimensional, don’t expect the score to be much different than last time (plus or minus 10 pts).

No. 10 Wisconsin (2-0) at No. 21 Fresno State (1-0)

This one could go either way. You have to love the way Fresno is playing ball, but the Badgers need to prove a little more consistency to become one of this season’s viable Top 10 BCS studs. The Badgers started slow against Akron and Marshall, but pulled away in the second half each game. FSU has already gone cross-country to beat Rutgers. Fresno State’s lone win in five games all time against Big Ten opponents came against Wisconsin in 2001.

No. 14 East Carolina (2-0) at Tulane (0-1)

Until they lose, East Carolina will be on this f*cking list! After being on center stage for the first two weeks of the season, East Carolina takes on its first unranked in Tulane. The Pirates’ No. 14 ranking is the highest since 1991, and lucky for them they are heading to Tulane. Tulane has lost 33 consecutive games against ranked opponents since a 31-28 upset of then-No. 12 LSU on Nov. 27, 1982. Don’t blow this!!!!
