Balkman was a spark plug for the Knicks, and one of the few valuable pieces (Crawford, Robinson, Lee) they had. Problem is, the value players are the only ones other teams would be interested in. Zack Randolph, Quentin Richardson, and Stephon Marbury are all selfish, one dimensional players more interested in padding their stat lines and wallets than playing team ball. Wilson Chandler has shown some flashes, but he's not a blue chipper. Eddy Curry retrogressed; was it because Randolph was hogging the ball, or has Eddy switched off ? Plenty of drama in the upcoming season !
