THE BAND: Gavin Rossdale

MEMBERS: Gavin Rossdale and who ever will play with him.

THEIR DEAL: Gavin Rossdale as tried, tried, and tried again to replicate the success he once had with alt-rock band, BUSH, in the ’90′s. And he has failed, failed, and failed. Not only that, but he married superdiva, Gwen Stefani, who DID manage to accelerate her career after her run with No Doubt in the ’90′s…so that’s gotta be a blow to the ego. He started a solo project called INSTITUTE after BUSH and now is spending his time swooning 40-year-olds with his contemporary rock.

THE DIRT: Word on the street is that Gavin gets pretty depressed about his solo music these days. He just can’t top what he’s done before and he laments over his fan base and the fact that he can’t get in with the ‘cool kids’ anymore. He wishes someone had told him not to name his first project INSTITUTE. In fact, he seems to think that’s why his new project isn’t doing so well. Really, Gavin? You think the name of your previous project is the reason behind all of this failure? You don’t think it has anything to do with the fact that you used to be cool and now you’re lame? Maybe you should just accept that Gwen is gonna bring home the bacon and you’re going to be the dad. There’s no shame in that.
