In China they have learned to eat whatever is available. You would too if your country had suffered the worst famine in the history of the world. Also, google some western food companies like Smithfield Foods or take a look at the ingredients in the average candy bar. Not so squeamish about duck toungues now, are you?

I’ve been to China and this isn’t a stereotype. It’s true. I was looking in the window of a pet store in Beijing that specialized in snakes, dozens of them squirming around behind a display window. And then I realized it was a restaurant. A SNAKE restaurant. Yikes!
Just because it’s yucky doesn’t mean it’s not true.
One thing you can say about the Chinese–they aren’t squeamish. And you’re right, we are going to be their bitches, because while we fuck around on the internet and comment on random bullshit, they’re studying mechanical engineering and designing cool machines that are gonna kick our ass. 中国是非常好的!

Obviously, this is a joke. And I don’t know if you checked up on this or not, lou but people actually eat these things in China…Not in this way, but would you like it better if they pointed out exactly how gross their food is? I’ve been to China. What you think is a pet shop is a grocery store…
