“This layout sucks, you cant find sh*t. It’s even a pain in the ass to upload photos.”

- Chris P., Purdue North Central

“Though I do like that it’s wider (takes advantage of my wide screen monitor better), it looks totally crowded and MUCH less elegant…It is just simply TOO hard to read anything in this new style and everything is kinda ‘thrown’ onto the page. I will say it has potential, but not like this.”

- Mike W., Wisc La Crosse

“I felt like I was in my local shopping center when after getting used to all the isles and knowing where everything was it goes and changes itself on me. Now I’m lost again! But great that you’re trying to make a fresh new look. I don’t see much of a big difference just that things have been moved around a little same stuff same coloring etc, etc…”

- Paula P., West Midlands

“I thought I hated it, but I really don’t. It’s not that bad once you get used to it. They shouldn’t change stuff blah blahhh but everything changes, people are flipping out over this and it’s not that bad. The newsfeed isn’t permanently with the wall, you can separate it by clicking on the tab that says posts by others. Except for the lack of ‘pull down’ tabs for friends and your inbox things are easier to find. Its NOT THAT BAD.”

- Jesse F., John D. O’Bryant School

“Why the f–k would they put the feed in with comments? i don’t understand, i’m still pissed.”

- Amber A., Kings Park High School

“If you don’t like it, you can switch to the old layout; there is a button for you to switch to it.”

- Melissa W., Vancouver, BC

“I actually really love the new Facebook. I absolutely hate looking at other peoples applications. The only thing I want to see is their wall so I can write on it, and poof its right in the front in the new one.
The only thing I don’t like is you still can’t opt out of receiving applications. They are so annoying sometimes and I know people are always forced to send them out because they cant see their answers if they don’t.”

- Emma N., Ramapo

“There’s nothing really new in terms of functions with the new layout, it just forces you to navigate endlessly instead of being able to see everything at a glance. All that switching between tabs simply allows for more ads to be shown, which I believe was the only agenda behind this new design.”

- Sylvain B., Japan

“I just don’t get how they can actually think the new layout would be better. It’s just so cumbersome. And inconvenient that you can’t see everything in one page.”

- Dex F., Tampa Bay, FL

“Change is good. If it were up to you we’d still be playing Sega and driving 67 Beetles. You can’t honestly think they would keep the layout the same for such a long time. Everything is weird at first but you will get used to it. You are all probably getting used to it right now. I already am.”

- Scott B., Lockview High School
