Wolverine Movie Trailer Revealed

With Comic-Con comes new movie trailers featuring our favorite superheros, and while Marvel has said for a while that a Wolverine movie was in the works, no one has seen any real footage of the film. Until now. This weekend at Comic-Con, in front of a live (and excited and probably costumed audience) Marvel finally released the first real trailer of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Luckily for you, someone sneaked in a camera…

Check out the leaked Wolverine trailer (parts 1 and 2) on the flip side!

I am a confessed comic book nerd. Or I was. I feel no shame in saying I love comics and I would probably still read them if they didn’t cost as much and had cohesive stories that aren’t completely changed every time a new writer comes on board. And I definitely still read old classics when I’m home and graphic novels when I have time and feel bored.

So I have to see these movies as a symbol of solidarity to the art form that basically raised me. That doesn’t mean seeing shitty superhero movies is any less painful for me and honestly, most of the Marvel releases are pretty bad. The first Hulk? The last 2 Spider-Man films? The third X-Men movie? All bad (obviously I’m not counting the new Batman films as ‘Superhero’ movies because those are basically just good movies who are using a superhero as a backbone rather then a superhero movie).

However, with the new Iron Man and Hulk, Marvel showed me they care. They said yes, we love these franchises and we don’t want to simply sell them off to be churned out. We want real directors, real talent, and real production value.

I am cautiously optimistic.

  • Amy says:

I don’t think Spidery 3 and Xmen 3 were terrible, just not as good as the others, and Spiderman 2 was amazing, I dunno where you thought that one was bad.

But yes, Hulk 1, Daredevil, and Elektra we could do without as well as Superman Returns
