Which Publication Wins?

  • InAwe says:

you have out done yourself- if only your site was not PG-13. Thank god for imagination.

  • Red Baron says:

Great group of pics. I think the reason why the SI ones tended to do better is because those pictures are really designed to be more provacative than actually sell the swimsuits, whereas VS is actually trying to sell that lingerie.

  • anon says:

This is biased. There wasn’t one VS candidate that won in voting. Something’s fishy.

  • Rich says:

Good work my man. Absolutely fabulous! But please fix the Veronica Varekova pictures. The one on the left (S.I.) IS her; the one on the right (V.S.) is Petra Nemcova.

  • Crunchy says:

This is pretty much the sexiest article I’ve ever read, or flipped through . . . Whatever you want to call it. I want them to post this on every website, everywhere.

  • Jason says:

You made my day I’ll say that, there were a few good Victoria Secrets but the models appear to be showing off VS wears, unlike sports illustrated,
Its just nice clean even devilish good fun, meow!!

  • JarahFan says:

Where is Jarah Mariano? She’s been in both! And has SI really never featured Adrianna Lima nor Alessandra Ambrosio?

  • Frankie Totz says:

I think the SI ones tend to be hotter for the reasons stated above, the VS models are trying to sell the clothes, while SI is trying to sell the girls. Lingerie is sexier than swimwear in my opinion, so I think this is a good explanation.

  • Photographion says:

Sports Illustrated’s photos are better :)

  • jim says:

    no comment

  • woocush says:

well… this a hell of an entertainment… haven’t browse through anything more sexy than this article. great job!

  • B3P0 says:

This wasn’t that fair of a vote, with some of the models, they had WAAY hotter VS pictures that could have been used, even despite the fact that they’re trying to sell the lingerie for VS rather than just look sexy in them.

And to whoever asked about Alessandra and Adriana in SI… no, unfortunately neither of them have ever been in the SI swimsuit issue… every year I hope that that will change, but it never does! I was very excited to see Marissa Miller finally get a cover on the SI issue this year though, she’s been my absolute favorite in the past 4 issues or so, and it was great to finally see her get some recognition!

  • Bob says:

This was definitely a biased poll. There were a lot of way hotter VS photos that could have been put in these polls. Also the polls aren’t always matching the models they are under.

Go back through the VS and pull the hottest photos you can find rather than ones that are covering the entire midsection of the models. Then we’ll get an honest poll.

Unless this is sponsored by SI, of course.

Unfortunately, both of these publications would lose vs. Maxim….

  • Adri says:

Adriana Lima has NEVER done S.I. Neither has Alessandra or Gisele.

I think S.I. is more overtly sexy and the reason is that VS tries to not go out of its way to intimidate or alienate its base: women. S.I. has no such sense of obligation.

  • John says:

The hottest pictures are the swimsuit ones as long as they don’t airbrush them. Sports Illustrated have really started to use much too much airbrushing lately and that really sucks. Just say no to airbrushing cos it really spoils otherwise great pictures.
