This past weekend, street fighter Kimbo Slice entered the Elite XC octagon and burst James Thompson’s cauliflower ear. It was bloody, exciting, and saved Kimbo from what was sure to be a loss.
Kimbo Slice, a former varsity football player, bouncer, and bodyguard, became famous via underground street fights posted on YouTube. He’d win his fights by fiercely bludgeoning his opponents, which turned the heavy-hitter into an over night sensation.
Kimbo decided to take his craft to the world of Mixed Martial Arts, and so far has a record of 2-0. On Saturday though, his weaknesses were exposed: Despite being a great street fighter and striker, Kimbo is out of his element on the ground. If an experienced opponent like Tito Ortiz takes him down, he’s potentially finished.
But there is another famous Mixed Martial Artist who is as inexperienced as Kimbo,ds but is generating buzz–former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar has a .500 record in MMA, losingds
to former UFC Heavyweight Frank Mir. Before one judges Lesnar by his background in WWE (Dan “The Beast” Severin was NWA Champion when he won the UFC title), it should be noted that before he wrestled professionally, Lesnar was the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Champion, with a record of 106-5 for his college career. Because of his inexperience and high profile status, Lesnar would be an ideal opponent for Kimbo.
Lesnar and Kimbo have the same amount of experience in MMA. Also, the two have a following that will generate interest from other media outlets. Finally, it would be a mix of two very different styles, boxing and amateur wrestling, that would make this a great fight.
From the tape, I think Lesnar would ultimately win the match. His amateur wrestling background gives him an edge due to Kimbo’s weakness as a ground fighter. Secondly, Lesnar probably has better endurance. But, who knows what could happen. Let’s petition UFC to have this fight happen. And, cast your vote for who you think would win.

if you are an mma fan you would know that brock isn’t going to submit kimbo he will take him down and ground and pound kimbo like hes done in both of his fights so far.
first off, Kimbo is on one of the sites from the dudes who do Reality Kings porno. Some of his ‘opponents’ were dudes who do the fucking in most of their videos (that Kimbo also appears in as a non-fucking participant on In The VIP)
I’ve counted at least 4 fights that were with those guys who pay him that looked absolutely fake.
Second, I’ve seen at least 10 other videos on youtube where he ‘knocks out’ the guy after the guy says he’s done and turns his back on him to quit. Knocking someone out by punching him in the back of the head is something my mom can do.
The guy can punch and isn’t a total pussy, but unless he actually learns how to fight he will get the living shit kicked out of him by a real trained fighter.
Lesnar, easily.
Wrestling pedigree is hard to beat unless your jujitsu is Mir-esque.
Thompson learned to wrestle using DVDs and madhandled Kimbo.
Additionally Lesnar would be the first opponent Slice has faced that is an equal physical specimen.
kimbo slice is nowhere near the physical specimen that brock is, brock is more powerful, more agile, quicker and has 100 times more stamina, and if james thompson(who has a very weak chin) can take a kimbo punch, you better believe brock can, especially after he finished that kurt angle match with a concussion. brock wins this fight in the first round
