Sure she likes the same music as you, is into the same movies, maybe even read some of the same books, but is she a dumbass? New dating site IntelligentPeople.com answers this question for you by requiring people trying to join to take–and pass–an IQ test.

Don’t worry, if you fail the first time, you’re allowed a second try (per email address). It took me both tries to get it. Once inside, you have to go through an extensive profile-completing process. And when you finally get to checking out other members, you find that the ones who took the time to actually upload a picture are mostly ugly, a bit too old or a “shampoo technician.”

Look, I know there are plenty of smart, cool, under-40, attractive women out there, but so far the evidence isn’t good. That is probably because most women fitting those categories don’t use dating Sites–they’re fending off dudes with sticks.
