Penn State Sit-in Leads to 31 Arrests

Thirty-one students involved in a daylong sit-in to demand the university sign onto an anti-sweatshop labor program were arrested and charged with criminal trespass after refusing to leave Old Main when it closed at 5 p.m.
Ben Brewer (senior-Spanish) volunteers to be arrested first, as 31 students staged a sit-in for the university to support the Designated Suppliers Program. The students began the sit-in at about 11 a.m. and were charged at about 5:30 p.m.[Daily Collegian]
