Here is a COED Vault story originally published on July 7, 2007 that seems rather appropriate today.
This commercial produced by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2006 was intended to promote a newly signed Frank Thomas in hopes that fans would be excited to see the future hall of famer play (aka: buy more season tickets).
The idea completely backfired as the commercial was deemed abusive to children and subsequently banned from Canadian TV.
See for yourself.
