Ermmmmmm... interestingly enough, pole dancing is what it is today because it was passed on by strippers themselves. One would hope then that the women who were lucky enough to be taught this amazing art form, would have the decency not to publicly blanket all strippers in the "lack of respect for oneself" category. As a stripper myself, and one who is proud of who she is and what she does, I have to say that my perspective is that lack of self respect is an issue with the human race in general, and to lay this trip on strippers in particular is incredibly unhelpful and prejudiced.
A little respect for those who have taught you what you know, wouldn't go astray.

I also pole dance for FITNESS ONLY! It's a FUN way to excerise, why not!?!?! Whats so wrong with that? That doesn't mean I'm a "tramp"..... I don't plan to EVER work as a stripper, I have more respect for myself then that! So many women and men are doing it, have a look through youtube..... Maybe you should try it before you pass judgement!

Agree with the asshole comment!

I think it's a shame that you have stooped so low in your career that you had to write this trash you call an article. Did you even take a moment to review Jamilla's work before you stole her photo? How about contacting her and asking a few questions so you could write an article of quality. You may find in the future that a little research can work wonders on your future.

Your insinuations about pole dancing being something only for tramps are not appreciated by the thousands of women all around the world who dance simply for the joy of feeling strong, flexible, and fit. Working with one's own body weight is one of the most balanced ways of working out.
Furthermore, thanks for using my (copywritten) image to front up your article. How ironic that an article about the "trampiness" of pole dancing sets alongside an image of an advanced acrobatic aerial move!
