Planning to study abroad in Europe this summer? Wait until the “open-skies” agreement kicks in on March 30 and you’ll save a boatload on your plane ticket.
Michael O’Leary, chief executive of RyanAir, the Irish no-frills carrier, has plans to start a new airline that will offer base fares from US cities to locations in the UK as low as 10 Euros, or about $16.
Sound too good to be true? It’s not!
The “open-skies” agreement is the largest single-day expansion of international air service since 1974, and is expected to open up dozens of new routes and offer consumers major price competition from carriers. For more fare information, check out RyanAir’s website.
