Our cappers shot 33.3% last night and sunk to a dismal 7-15-1 overall. Fenboy was the one bright spots on the night when he finally entered the win column as Marist covering the +2.5 spread in a 87-85 loss to Fairfield.

As for the losers: Bone picked up his fourth loss when Providence lost to Georgetown by 10 points, 68-58 and Gebsta was within close range of his 2nd win but Syracuse had a late game melt down losing to Louisville by 11 points.

Let’s hope the guys pick well tonight and turn this sinking ship around.

DA Zeus (3-2) from Fairfield University

The Pick: Baylor +6 at Oklahoma

Baylor has lost 5 of their last 6. However , I am still a believer. Oklahoma has a tendency to play teams close, and this really is a must win game for the Baylor Bears. Oklahoma travels back home after a lucky buzzer beater against Texas Tech. Two stats that stick out to me here are: Baylor is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games. Oklahoma is 4-13 ATS in their last 17 vs. Big 12. I believe the depth Baylor has at the guard position really pays dividends tonight. Expect Baylor to come out firing to try and take the crowd out of it early. That’s why I leaned first half initially in this one, but just decided to take them for the game instead. Baylor should get back on track tonight.

Fenboy (1-4) from Marist College

The Pick: Oklahoma – 6 vs Baylor

After a nail biting victory with the Red Foxes last night, Fenboy looks to continue this hot streak into Tuesday nights card. Much like last nights selection, these are two teams that are headed in opposite directions. Baylor has lost 3 straight and 5 of the last 6 whereas Oklahoma is coming off a ridiculous buzzer beating win at Texas Tech on Saturday. Both of these teams are 5-5 in the Big 12 and I look for the ‘Sooners to continue their 30 year winning streak against the Bears of Baylor.

Stud to Watch: Coming off a 17 rebound performance on Saturday, Oklahoma will look for Blake Griffen to have another huge day. Griffen leads Oklahoma in both rebounds and points per game and I don’t see Baylor stopping him all night.

Bone (1-4-1) from from Lynchburg College

The Pick: Clemson -4 vs. Florida State

Clemson has been playing great ball and have not let me down yet. They have been constantly undervalued all year – look at how much they cover by in their wins as short favorites: -2.5 at UVA win by 31, -10.5 against BC win by 22, -1.5 at Bama win by 26. Meanwhile, although FSU has dropped 3 of their last 4 at home in conference. They are 0-8 ATS at home last 8, and 7-16 ATS on the year as a whole. This team can’t close out games. Now they face a much better team in Clemson, who has already beat them this year. Looks like a bad spot for FSU.

Gebsta (1-4) from Seton Hall University

The Pick: Kentucky -6.5 vs Georgia

Excluding their 18 point win against South Carolina, Georgia has been playing like garbage as of late. In their last match up (at Georgia) Kentucky beat the Bull Dog’s by 5 points so I really don’t this will be very much of a home court challenge for the Wild Cats. I also like the fact that Georgia is 7-15 ATS in their last 22 road games. Look for Kentucky to win this one by 8 points.

Stud to Watch: Joe Crawford from Kentucky had a massive 26 point game against Georgia on February 2nd. If he can repeat the magic tonight the Wild Cats should cover the spread.

DA Zeus (3-2)
Gebsta(1-4)
Bone (1-4-1)
K-Lo (1-1)
Fenboy (1-4)

Bill, DaZues did not make a selection last night (Feb 18th) Bone selected providence and lost which put him to 1-4-1, zeus stayed at 3-2 because of his non-selection…Thanks

  4. Editor says:

Fenboy is right. Yesterday Zeus submitted his pick after the 2:45PM deadline and it could not be included in 2/18's NCAA pick of the day.
