NCAA Basketball Picks Of The Day – Feb. 9, 2008
February 9, 2008 Posted in News-ish

Capper: DA Zeus
Georgia Tech +7.5 at University of Connecticut
UCONN is going for their 7th win in a row but they are due for a let down. Georgia Tech is a battle test squad and have hung within 8 points in many hostel environments this year.
Stud to watch: Uconn’s center Hasheem Thabeet who averages 4 blocks per game will be the key to the game. If he plays well Gtech will not be able to run to the basket and this could be a spread buster.
Capper: Bone
Wake Forest -4 vs. Virginia
(11-10) Virginia just got their assed handed to them by Clemson by over 30 points. Wake Forest is coming off a loss and this is a must win game. Lawrence Joel Coliseum will be rocking tonight!
Stud to Watch: Wake Forest’s James Johnson averaging 14.4 points a game is the key to Wake covering the spread. As long as Wake can contain Virginia’s Sean Singletary they should be alright.
Overall: DA Zeus: 0-0; Bone: 0-0
