Christmas Classics: Letters to Santa Butt-Head

Christmas is here. And if you’ve survived the chaos of Christmas shopping (it was worse then ever this year) there’s nothing better than curling up with a nice cup of Hot Cocoa and watching the annual Christmas specials. Unfortunately due to the writer’s strike in Hollywood, there won’t be any Christmas episodes of your favorite shows this year.

But fear not my friends, for we can always rely on classic Christmas specials to tide us over.

While most Christmas specials are often heavy on the sap to give families a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, there is one Christmas special that ditches the sap and gives us good old-fashioned comedy at the holiday’s expense. That special is Beavis and Butthead: Do Christmas.

How can you go wrong with Beavis and Butthead as the stars of some of the greatest Christmas movies of all time? For example, Beavis portrays “Ebenezer Beavis” in an amazing parody of A Christmas Carol, where he abuses his employees and watches porn all night until three ghosts try to get him to change his ways. Then Butthead learns what life would be like if he was never born in a parody of It’s A Wonderful Life. The difference is Clarence is trying to make Butthead jump off the bridge.

The Highlight of the special is Letters to Santa Butthead. Viewers wrote in letters to Santa Butthead asking for gifts like poop or to kick Beavis’ ass. However, and much to Santa Butthead’s dismay, all the chicks wanted one thing for Christmas: Beavis.

So, sit back and relax and relive the memories of Beavis and Butthead: Do Christmas and a Merry Christmas to each and every one of you…bungholes! (just kidding)
