CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) – Evel Knievel, the hard-living motorcycle daredevil whose exploits made him an international icon in the 1970s, died Friday. He was 69.
In 1967 Evel attempted to jump the Caesar’s Palace fountain in Las Vegas. He missed and broke nearly every bone in his body.
Cheers to surviving this long into the 21st century. We’ll all spill one out for you at the bar tonight.
See the horrendous crash after the jump!
