Maybe not romance, but I made out with not one but two girls in a coed bathroom during my freshman year (same night). I'm a strong supporter.

During frosh week one of my buddies and a girl in our group both ate something terrible for dinner. Apparently sharing the terrible consequences side-by-side was something of a bonding experience for them.
One of the things I remember hitting me pretty hard when I first started at university was the shocking truth that NO ONE CARED. High school fashions, cliques, and all of that seemed to get lost in obscurity. I took the whole situation as a way to grow up, not as something to dread.

I think its a terrible idea. First off, loud music? WTF?!!:( Secondly, how would someone monitor this arrangement? Who would be in charge? What will the Admin. do if an incident occurred? Are we just letting too many hands mix the pot? Let's all just respect each other and allow others some privacy, next thing you know holes will be popping up all over the place there…bad idea.

While I feel for the GTBLXINFO whatevers, there's nothing worse than needing to let something nasty rip with a hot girl in the stall next to you. It's also really hard to jerk off in the shower when you know/see girls walking by outside (or maybe it helps you, who knows)

If you want to build co-ed bathrooms, college administrators, do it with soundproof stalls (or some music piping in to cover some noise with near-soundproof ones), and put doors on the showers – those little curtains make the ladies pretty uncomfortable.

I really don't care about the feelings of transgender students. Why should I or anyone else have to compromise our feelings for the few of them.

Awkward as they sometimes may be, co-ed bathrooms are integral in preventing harassment of transgender students and students who do not comply with gender norms. Single stall co-ed bathrooms are a good compromise.
