Blues Traveler are best known for their 1994 hit songs “Run-Around” & “Hook” and their formally 380LB harmonica playing lead man John Popper. Formally you say?! Yes, John Popper had congestive heart failure in 1999, underwent gastric bypass surgery and is now a slender 200-something. Today the band is still together, touring, releasing allums, doing VH1 specials and although releases have not been as successful as the quintuple platinum album ‘Four’ we can always remember the good ol’ days, errr 1994, when Blues Traveler ruled the world of music and my heart.
Enjoy two of my favorite songs of the 1990’s after the jump…
